A ROYAL Celebration

Recently Hillsborough received its Royal Status and Peter’s Patch had the privilege of being part of the celebrations in the town! We had a visit from the Mayor who joined us for a morning in Forest School, a team from the council came to help us create our beautiful autumn lanterns, we made a trip to the castle in hopes of spotting The Queen and, as the grand finale, we got to take part in the lantern parade through the town before watching the fabulous fireworks display!

It was such a special week for the children who were able to get involved, learn some new things about Hillsborough and make some very special memories. Thank you to all the parents, staff and children who were involved in this special event! It really was fabulous!
