Snug
(3 Years – School)
Snug is the last stop for our nursery children before they head off to school. Our main aim is to ensure we are sending children who are emotionally and physically ready of to school. We do this by providing opportunities for our children to develop the skills they need to settle into big school, make new friends and enjoy their future education. Prior to starting school, we will build links with the local schools, introducing uniforms, teachers, and routines so that the move goes as smoothly as possible.
Snug
We have a real focus on independence throughout The Snug from tidying up toys, putting on coats, going to the toilet, even serving, and scraping their own plates at mealtimes. While independence is especially important there are always staff on hand to help and give encouragement when needed.
Don’t worry though, there is a lot of fun involved in all this learning. Following the curiosity approach and in the moment learning our skilled team focus on an individual child’s interests and find the perfect way to enhance their learning experience in that moment.

Children investigate the world around them independently and with their peers, often making new discoveries about themselves along the way!
Each day we upload information about your child’s day to our Nursery Pal app.
This is a secure, online way for you to access information about how your child has eaten, slept and toileted during their time at nursery.
We will upload some fun pictures from their activities and experiences during the day too! It is a fantastic way for you to catch a glimpse of what they really get up to!
