Forest School Graduation

This was our first year of Forest School Graduations and, while we were sad that we couldn’t share the experience with Mum’s and Dad’s, we sure had a great time!

Being in the Forest is the best bit about Forest School so it made perfect sense that our last day was spent doing what we love! ADVENTURING! We still had our story, talked about our rules, and had all the exciting things to explore that we usually do but on Graduation Day a few things were a little different.

First, we made magnificent crowns from all the treasures we could find in the forest! Each one was different and even more precious than gold! We wore our crowns for our graduation photo and each of us got to hold the special Forest School staff! Then it was off to be kings and queens of the forest!

Snack time was cool too! We each had a box full of tasty treats and the box had awesome pictures of bugs on it! Once all the food was gone, we spent some time collecting up some special treasure from the Forest to bring home. It was such a great day!

Before we left, we got a special bag of goodies and a teddy to help us remember forest school! There was everything in there for a bug hunt, so we were all excited for that too!

Thank you so much to all our Forest School parents for your commitment to bringing your children rain, hail or shine. For being patient and kind as we dealt with the logistics of the carpark and navigated our way through restrictions and regulations.

Thank you to our Forest School staff for always putting on a smile whatever the weather. For getting down and muddy with the children and making each day full of joy and wonder!

Finally thank you to the Forest School children! For reminding us of the excitement of a puddle, the joy of a swing and the adventure that lies around every corner. You have been a wonderful bunch and we are incredibly proud of how each one of you has grown in so many ways! Good luck on your next adventure and hopefully we will bump into you in the Forest soon!
